Breastfeeding has been quite the challenge. Gracie had to be fed supplement(formula) because she lost too much weight her first day at the hospital. My milk was also late coming in. Heidi, my sister, saved the day. She was literally at my house for about thirty minutes and she had Gracie just feeding on me. Gracie and I are now Happy Campers.

JoLynn came over to visit and Gracie took to her instantly. JoLynn was Janice's roommate for about three years.

I am ready to pop! Today is Gracie's due date. We are very anxious and excited. I will be induced on November 30th if Gracie does not make her entrance before then. The waiting is driving us even more crazy!

A kindergarten class at the school I work at made me a turkey hat. I like to see them parade around in them every school year. Naturally I had to model it on Joe for you. We had a most delicious turkey dinner at Joe's sister, Kristen's house. We were hoping the big meal would help Gracie to come. Alas, no.

The Aunt's at Aunt Donna's and More Stuff for Gracie

What a fun day this was. My Mom's five sisters (pictured above) had a baby shower for me. It was a brunch and the food was mmmmmmm.......yummy! You can see an exhausted Joe in the bottom picture after taking even more presents into the house. Joe's side of the family threw me a shower too. I didn't get a chance to take pictures there. This shower had great food and company too.
