Amada & Nathan

Amanda & Nathan at the Salt Lake Temple

We had a great time at Janice's cousin, Amanda's wedding yesterday. She was beautiful and when Gracie saw her she said, "Look Daddy, There's a princess!"

Alyssa's Blessing

We blessed Alyssa today. We enjoyed having family and friends join us in this event. It is always fun to see everyone.
Gracie is adjusting to being a big sister. The picture of them together above could not have happened a month ago. Gracie is finally realizing that Alyssa is not a doll to be dragged around!
There are more pics I that I have just posted in the older posts. I can't believe it has been six months since I added to this blog!

Krystiana's Birthday and Halloween

We enjoyed going to Joe's Sister's house twice this weekend. It was Krystiana's birthday on Friday and Halloween on Saturday. Gracie dressed up as a cat and Alyssa was a mouse.

From May to August in a Nutshell

Joe graduated on May 1st in Business Administration. We are really proud of him. Janice's Dad and wife, Janet came to the graduation. It was really nice to have them there.
We visited Janice's sister for the fourth of July. Janice's brother was there too.
We enjoyed visiting Janice's Aunts a few times over the summer.
Then Alyssa came! Three and a half weeks early! She is about three weeks old in the picture above.

Gracie is getting a sister!

We are excited to have a new addition to our family in September (9/09/09). Janice has thought the baby was a boy this whole time. She was wrong! Hey Tuckers, do you want to trade? Just kidding. Also, does anyone have any name suggestions? We have not been thinking of girl names.

Easter and Our Stubborn Gracie

Gracie had a fun visit from the Easter Bunny. She also enjoyed going to Grandma and Grandpa Clayton's for dinner. Gracie is developing quite the personality. She insists on feeding herself which sometimes is quite messy as shown. Also, she is somewhat of a bully (She hasn't learned how to share yet.) We are ever wondering what our cute, curious Gracie is going to do next!

Devyn Turns Three!

Devyn had a fun Sponge Bob Birthday in March. Amber made a great Sponge Bob cake. Devyn was quite excited to get a four wheeler for his birthday.

A New Car Joins Our Family

Joe was on Spring break in March and was determined to get the new car he has been researching for over a year. He did it all while Janice was at work. Three banks, a couple of car lots and about ten phone calls to Janice later we had a 2009 Rav4 Toyota. We have not had a chance to take a picture of it yet but it looks a lot like the picture above except for it is a gold brown color. We have nicknamed it "Tank" because it has a zillion safety features and it is the biggest car Janice has ever drove.

Hooray! Eldon is Home

Eldon came home in February from a twelve month deployment(his second) to Kuwait. We got to go to the hanger and watch his plane fly in which was awesome. Seeing families reunited was even more awesome. We're glad to have Eldon home and are very proud of the service he does for our country.

Haircut Happenings

Gracie got her first haircut in January at Cookie Cutters where she got to sit in a pink car and watch Baby Einstein. Gracie kept pulling her pony tails out and couldn't see with the hair in her face so we had to get it cut. Since then Gracie has already had one trim.

Gracie Just Goes and Goes

This is Gracie in January. She started really crawling in November. Since then she stands up on everything, goes up and down stairs, gets into everything and insists on walking on her knees instead of her feet!

Catching up!

This was basically the rest of Christmas. We played a lot, slept a lot and ate a lot of good food. Gracie was totally spoiled and Janice's brother, Jacob was the star of Christmas. He got everyone a webcam so we could see each other opening our gifts on Christmas day. We suprised Dad early for his birthday and went to a Mexican restaurant, hence the sombrero.

I wore a short sleeved shirt today and Santa!

Gracie finally saw Santa today at the mall in Stockton. She did not know what to make of it but she did not cry! Now we are in Dad's office being computer nerds. Hope everyone's holiday is going well!

Gracie's B-day Revisited

We have made it to California after two days of traveling by car and staying at the Holiday Inn in Barstow. We visited Janice's Grandpa on the way to Janice's Dad's. Janet made cupcakes with a number one candle for Gracie. We were hoping to finally have a messy picture but alas no. I guess our girl is not into cake. Gracie got a Little People Ark which she totally loves. Grandpa has lots of carpet and Gracie has been to almost every nook and cranny already.

Christmas Celebrations

December has been a very busy month with shopping, parties and Gracie's milestones. Gracie is finally crawling forward and is all over the place and into everything. We enjoyed celebrating an early Christmas with Joe's family. We are now at Janice's Dad's for the holidays.

Thanks for My Pretty Dress, Grandma & Grandpa

Gracie got a beautiful Christmas dress for her birthday along with matching bows!

Exploring

Instead of sitting in her bouncy chair Gracie likes to explore under it and anything else she can squeeze under. Some of her favorite things to do are to go under chairs and play with people's shoelaces.

It's My Party and I'll Cry If I Want to!

We were so excited to see what Gracie would do with her own cake. She cracked under the pressure of having too many people watching her. She licked a little bit of the frosting and then cried to get out of the high chair. We are going to have a private retry. Stay tuned for hopefully messy pictures.
